Random Passage: “Sometimes food may become dried on or burned by overheating. The easiest method of removing these food particles is to place cold water in the utensil. Then bring the water to a boil. Use a wooden spoon to remove food that sticks to a pan. Allow to cool before washing. A good stainless steel cleaner may be used to complete the cleaning.”
Notes: Prepared by West Bend for lucky consumers who bought their Lustre-Craft line of aluminum cookware, this booklet includes tips for keeping the products durable and clean, along with several pages of recipes. West Bend continued making aluminum housewares (with or without the Lustre Craft brand) at their Wisconsin manufacturing facility until the company was outsourced to China in 2003.
