Notes: At the time of this recipe booklet, Durkee Famous Foods had been around for more than 75 years. The spread of Durkee products pictured in the booklet’s middle (seen below) included spices, shortening, sauces, mayonnaise, canned coconut, tapioca—even birdseed! The company has switched owners a few times in the past 30 years, now basically existing as a spice brand.
