Notes: The Villa Montaña Resort still exists with an inviting restaurant, although hopefully they’ve updated their menu since the 1960s (the recipes in this book are quite Americanized, with gelatin-based salads and the like). The most appealing parts of this book are the traditional Mexican icons used as chapter intro art, all of which are included below for your placer.
