Notes: By the mid-20th century, beer manufacturers Anheuser-Busch had grown large enough to need a persuasive sales force. This booklet was prepared by the company to supply tips and tricks to make a successful speech. The booklet's opening greeting was penned by August "Gussie" Busch, Jr. (1899-1989), who chaired the company from 1946 to 1975. To celebrate the end of Prohibition in 1933, Busch introduced the team of clydesdale horses as the company's mascots.
